Dithering Rhodri still fudging on Iraq

4.51.11pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 16th Apr 2007

Alison Goldsworthy, candidate for the Lib Dems in Cardiff West, has responded to Rhodri Morgan's comments on Iraq today:

"Even four years after the war started Rhodri is still unable to give a straight answer about the Iraq War. The time for people to make their views heard was four years ago as the decision was being made to invade Iraq, when the Lib Dems voted against Labour's war.

Rhodri stayed silent whilst Labour MP's voted to take us into War with Iraq. What use is it that he says something now - maybe a one legged duck could have come to a quicker decision"
