Alison Goldsworthy will be spending the morning in Amroth Road post office, Caerau

Welsh Liberal Democrats spokesperson for Cardiff West, Alison Goldsworthy is set to work in a post office today.

Alison Goldsworthy said:

"We all know that post offices have closed under Labour and that the Lib Dems are the only party with plans to keep our post offices open. In Cardiff West alone, 25% of our post offices have closed since 2000. Shockingly, our Labour MP, Kevin Brennan voted with the government to allow many of these closures to happen.

Post Offices provide a vital resource to the local community so I was delighted when a postmaster in the Caerau area of Cardiff West invited me to spend a few hours behind the counter experiencing first hand what life was like for him."
