Jenny Randerson's tour of Welsh hospitals returned to Cardiff today with a visit to St David's.

Welsh Lib Dem Health spokesperson Jenny Randerson AM said "It was fascinating to see how a PFI funded hospital works and a dental care unit unique in the UK.

"The Dental Unit combined a mixture of primary dental work, emergency dental work and teaching. Great benefits can be reaped by a holistic approach to dentistry and healthcare in general. I was incredibly impressed with the hard working staff who have made me even more determined to help the Welsh Lib Dems get the best deal for patients and staff.

Assembly candidate for Cardiff West Alison Goldsworthy said; "Visiting hospitals really brings into focus the reality of the challenges facing the Welsh NHS. People in this area are constantly telling me how concerned they are. They feel let down by Labour's lack of leadership for the health service."

Jenny Randerson AM has been undertaking a summer tour of hospitals across the whole of Wales, from Abergavenny to Bangor and everywhere in between, to hear first hand how the NHS can be made to work better.
